On June 11^th, 2025, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook completed their mandatory military service, marking a significant momentous as six of the seven members have now fulfilled this obligation.

Their discharge follows RM and V, who were released a day earlier, and Jin and J-hope, who completed their service in 2024. 

Suga on the other hand is still serving as a social service agent due to health reasons, he is expected to be discharged on June 21 of the present year.

The return of Jimin and Jungkook was celebrated with heartfelt messages to fans. Jimin reflected on the enduring bonds formed during his service, while Jungkook expressed his genuine excitement to reconnect with fans after their hiatus. Many ARMY’s from around the world gathered to welcome them back, showcasing the group’s global impact.

As BTS approaches a full reunion, once his last members get discharged from the military service, anticipation builds for their future activities.

While HYBE has not announcement specific plans yet, they have indicated that the members will need time for preparation and production before resuming to their group activities.
Fans are hopeful for a group comeback by the end of this year or start of next year.

In the meantime, individual activities continue within the member, engaging solo projects. J-hope’s “Hope On Stage” tour is set to conclude on June 14, 2025 in Seoul. While, on the other hand, Jin’s “Run Seokjin Ep.” tour is scheduled to begin on June 28, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea.

Whit the completion of military service for most of the members and ongoing solo projects , BTS stands once again on the cusp of a new chapter, poised to reunite and continue with their global influence in the music scene.
