NCT Doyoung, following the success of his debut solo album “The Foam of Youth” in April 2024, he is set to make a comeback with his new project, “Soar”, schedule for release on June 9, 2025. This new album will mark another significant milestone in Doyoung’s flourishing solo career.

First Project “Youth”

His first solo album “The Foam of Youth” showcased his versatility as an artist. The album featured ten tracks, including the title song “Little Light”, a ballad band-styled that resonates with themes of hope and self- discovery.

Doyoung penned the lyrics for his tracks “Beginning” and “From Little Wave”, the last one inspired in a heartfelt fan letter that likened him to the sea.

His first solo album achieved remarkable success, topping iTunes charts in multiple countries and securing high positions on domestic charts, such as Melon and now has gotten at least 2M streaming hours positioning in the 31^st place of most listened albums.

The album also counted with collaborations of other artists, such as Mark form NCT and Taeyeon of Girl’s Generation, further highlighting Doyoung’s collaborative spirit and musical range.

Upcoming Promotions and Concert

To commemorate the release of “Soar” and also as a last show before he enlists in the military, he will hold a three-day solo concert in Seoul from June 13^th to June 15^th, 2025 at the Jamsil Sport Complex Gymnasium.
The performances are anticipated to showcase new tracks from the album, offering fans a live experience of his latest musical endeavors.

He is also holding a live event called “Listening Experience” at Noudit, to share with his fans a previous of his upcoming album, fans were able to apply buy buying the album before its release date with exclusive souvenirs and the opportunity to learn about some stories of the behind-scenes directly from Doyoung.
And last but not least, he will be holding a special live event called “Soar Special Live” where he will meet his fans again and also talk about his upcoming album, the event will be streamed via various platforms such as YouTube, TikTok NCT’s official channel and Weverse NCT 127 channel.

Artistic Pursuits

Beyond his music career, Doyoung has been active in various facets of the entertainment industry. This year he took the role of Gwyplaine in the musical “The Man Who Laughs”, demonstrating his acting progress and commitment to diverse artistic expressions.

He has also been active in the modelling area, as he is the official ambassador of Dolce Gabbana and the cosmetic brand Peripera.

Doyoung has also invested some of his time to slightly give it a try to TV shows, such as his appearance on “I Live Alone” and a frequent guest.

On June 1, 2025, Doyoung delivered a captivating performance at the 17^th “Seoul Jazz Festival”, held at the Olympic Park in Seoul. This appearance was particularly noteworthy as it market his first live performance of a track from his upcoming album “Soar”, he connected with the audience showing his adaptability beyond the K-pop sphere.
