[Kpop Planet News] ENHYPEN Jay To Participate In Japanese Rock Band GLAY 30 Anniversary Project

ENHYPEN Jay is participating in a commemorative project with Japan's famous rock band GLAY.

According to GLAY's official social media accounts on the 24th, Jay will collaborate with GLAY on their upcoming debut 30th-anniversary single "whodunit-GLAY × JAY(ENHYPEN)-/シェア" set to be released on the 29th of next month.

Jay will be featured and credited for lyrics in one of the title tracks of GLAY's new single, 'whodunit-GLAY × JAY(ENHYPEN)-'. Jay previously participated in writing the lyrics for the title track 'Sweet Venom' of their mini 5th album 'ORANGE BLOOD' released last year, and through this collaboration, he will be challenging himself with Japanese songwriting for the first time.

GLAY leader TAKURO stated, "To mark our 30th anniversary, we wanted to create a fitting song for GLAY's new career. While looking for collaboration artists who could give a big stimulus to the band, we came across Jay's vocal and passion for rock, and we felt that we could have interesting chemistry, so we pursued this collaboration."

Through his agency BELIFT LAB, Jay expressed, "It's an honor to participate in GLAY's important album. It was a special memory to not only write lyrics but also record with the GLAY members. I hope many people listen to it as I sang with great effort to deliver resonance to everyone."

ENHYPEN, to which Jay belongs, is currently on the world tour 'ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘FATE PLUS’.' They will be performing in 5 cities in the United States in April and May, followed by continuing their tour momentum in 5 cities in Japan from June to September.
