[Kpop Planet News] Seventeen Makes History as First K-pop Band to Perform at Glastonbury's Main Stage

Seventeen is right here! These boys made another historic debut on the Glastonbury Festival's main Pyramid Stage in the UK on June 30, 2024, and are the first-ever K-pop band act to grace the iconic festival's main stage.

The captivating performance by Seventeen lasted an hour, kicking off with a solo keyboard intro by Woozi before transitioning into a powerful set that included hits like "Maestro," "Ready to Love," "SOS," "Clap," "God of Music," and "Headliner."

Seventeen burned the stage with their teamwork and the audiences were enthralled! Throughout their performance, seventeen frequently interacted with fans, prowling across the stage and inviting them to join them. The enthusiastic crowd sang along to "Rock With You" and "Hot," with the band responding to the audience's excitement.

Despite language and cultural differences, Seventeen was able to connect with the crowd through the universal language of music. Joshua remarked, "Despite differences in language, nationality, and culture, we can connect through music. That's why we are here. Please remember Seventeen."

The performance reached a high point during the encore, just like the usual ending in Seventeen concert, the audience sang along to the chorus of "Very Nice" repeatedly. Seungkwan took the interaction a step further by pointing the microphone at fans, heightening the concert’s energy.
