SHINee is back with a single named “Poet l Artist”, the single is set to be released on May 25, coinciding with their 17^th anniversary.

This comeback holds a profound significance, as the title mirrors their member Jonghyun’s final posthumous album from 2018. It evokes deep emotions not only between the members but also among fans who has been supporting them along many years. The new album comes with a collectible concept, the released images of plushies and after many years it includes five figures for the album, highlighting their well known personal character. The plushies come with a magnet the allows them to hold hands all together, making it hold significance on the album and it design. 

Followed by a photo book version that displays their visuals and in the credits of the new song it shows their members names a co-writer. 
The members mentioned that the song “Poet l Artist” was composed by Jonghyun and it was supposed to be included in his last album, now, SHINee will show that masterpiece to the world with their vocals and some post arrangements, however, they wanted to keep it quite similar to the original, as much as possible.

In celebration to their anniversary, they will host their seventh concert series, “SHINee WORLD VII [E.S.S.A.Y] (Every Stage Shines Around You)” at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. All four members, Onew, Minho, Key and Taemin will participate, marking their first full group activity since 2023.

The concert has sold out, scoring the group’s enduring popularity. For international fans and fans that cannot make it to the venue, it will be streamed through Beyond Live and Weverse Live on May 24^th and May 25^th.

Individually SHINee members have been active with solo projects. Onew, just finished his world tour “The Live: Connection” performing across Asia and North America. Taemin also concluded his solo tour “The Ephemeral” across Asia, North and South America. Minho also held solo concerts around Asia with his tour “MEAN: of my first” and Key has been appearing on the tv shows such as, “Amazing Saturday” and “I Live Alone”, also held some solo stages in Japan, Europe, Manila and more as an invited artist to represent the Global K-pop community.

SHINee is preparing a significant comeback, fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating the group’s return and their future activities, celebrating and honoring their long trajectory.
