February 18 is BTS J-Hope's birthday. To commemorate this special day, many BTS overseas fan clubs around the world have followed domestic fan clubs to conduct a donation relay recently, spreading love and support to the underprivileged in their respective countries.

The relay was first started by the global ARMY charity organization "One In An ARMY". They conducted a fundraising campaign to support medical equipment for disabled children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The campaign successfully raised $11,851, exceeding their goal by 107%, and the money will be donated to the charity organization "StandProud".

Japanese ARMY conducted a fundraiser with the theme "Spreading happiness received from J-Hope to children worldwide" to support children in underdeveloped countries. They achieved 102% of their goal by the 25th and donated to UNICEF.

The Indonesian fan club carried out a fundraising activity for the medical expenses of children suffering from diseases such as cancer, HIV, AIDS, and also conducted a fundraiser to support the animal shelter "Pejaten Shelter".

The Colombian fan club conducted fundraising to donate school kits for vulnerable children in the Antioquia Barbosa area. Additionally, they published large congratulatory advertisements in the country's capital Bogota and major areas to celebrate J-Hope's birthday.

In Thailand, ARMY made donations to the "Puma Cats Love Foundation" and the "Bantanta Wan Project Children's Foundation" under the full name of J-Hope "Jung Hoseok". They also conducted donation activities for poor patients at hospitals in Chiang Mai.

In Russia, ARMY made donations to support patients diagnosed with spinal bifida, and put up large video advertisements in several cities across the country to commemorate J-Hope's birthday.

The Hungarian fan club adopted a red squirrel in the nearby Budapest Kecskemét Zoo and named it 'jhope,' inspired by the BT21 squirrel doll character "MANG" designed by J-Hope.

In Argentina, donations were made to support the Pumakawa Nature Reserve and its surrounding areas, and fundraising activities were conducted for animal shelters. In addition, large video advertisements were set up in several cities, and celebratory events were held at Buenos Aires Plaza.

Various charitable activities were carried out in other countries as well including Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Spain, South Africa, and more, demonstrating BTS and J-Hope's unfading popularity globally. 

Meanwhile, J-Hope will be kicking off his new project "Hope On The Street" in March. He will be releasing a special album “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1″ on March 27 and a docuseries “HOPE ON THE STREET”, which is set to be premiered on the following day. 

J-Hope is currently serving as a sergeant instructor at the Baekho Training Center of the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju, Gangwon Province. He is expected to be discharged on October 17th this year.
