[Kpop Planet News] ATEEZ To Release News Japanese Single In February

The pirate kings will return with a new Japanese album next month!

On January 12, ATEEZ announced on their Japanese X (formerly Twitter) account that they will be releasing their third Japanese single "NOT OKAY" on February 28. The group has dropped concept photos of Hongjoong and Seonghwa, and will unveil the other members' photos in the coming days.

This is going to be ATEEZ's first Japanese album in almost a year since they dropped their second Japanese single "Limitless" in March last year, drawing high anticipation among ATINY for the group's long-awaited comeback.

In support of the release of their new album, ATEEZ will also be holding a showcase in Tokyo on February 29, drawing further anticipation among ATINY on this comeback.

Once the news was announced, ATINY around the world expressed their excitement on ATEEZ Japanese comeback on social media. Many hilariously played with the album title, saying that they are "not okay" as they are not ready for the comeback, and some even quoted the line "I'm not okay, I'm not okay" in "The Ring", a b-side track from "THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT"

ATEEZ has achieved great success with their previous Japanese releases. "Limitless" secured the first and second places on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart and Weekly Singles Chart respectively, and entered major charts in the Japanese Billboard including Japan Hot Animation and Hot 100.

Their third Japanese mini-album, "THE WORLD EP. PARADIGM," released in November 2022, also secured the top spot on the Oricon daily, weekly, and combined weekly album charts, as well as No.1 on the Billboard Japan weekly Hot Albums and Top Album Sales charts, proving the group's huge popularity in Japan. With the announcement of ATEEZ's Japanese comeback, ATINY globally are excited to see how the new album will take the group to new heights.

Meanwhile, ATEEZ will kick off their new world tour "Towards the Light: Will to Power" with two opening shows on January 27 and 28 in Jamsil Indoor Stadium. Following that, the group will hold two concerts at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan on February 3 and 4.

ATINY, are you ready for ATEEZ's new Japanese single? Let's show our love and support for ATEEZ's upcoming new Japanese album and world tour!
