[Kpop Planet News] BTS J-Hope To Release "Hope On The Street" Special Album And Docuseries
BTS J-Hope is set to take ARMY on a thrilling journey of street dance with his upcoming "Hope on the Street" project!
On J-Hope's birthday February 18, he posted a video titled " 'Hope On The Street' Coming Soon" on BTS official social media channels. The video starts with J-Hope's dance practice videos back in 2015, the present-day J-Hope then appears while showcasing rhythmic movement. The video finally ends with the caption "2024.03", revealing the starting date of the project.

According to Big Hit Music, "Hope on the Street" is a project initiated by J-Hope that dives into the theme of "dance", which is the core of J-Hope's artistic root and identity. It also revealed that J-Hope dedicated his efforts to completing all the preparation work before his military enlistment.
The project consists of a special LP album "Hope on the Street Vol. 1" that features a total of 6 tracks, as well as a 6-part docuseries "Hope on the Street". The series records J-Hope meeting and getting inspirations from street dancers from cities around the world including Osaka, Paris, New York, Seoul, and his hometown Gwangju.
"Hope on the Street Vol. 1" will be officially released on March 29. The docuseries will be premiered on March 27 with new episodes being out every Thursday and Friday on TVING in Korea and Prime Video globally. More details on the project will be revealed at a later date.
Meanwhile, J-Hope uploaded photos on Instagram on his birthday with the caption "Happy hobi day". The photos show that he visited the J-Hope Forest, a garden dedicated to him by the Seoul Government and his fan club, and visited the birthday congratulatory banners prepared by ARMY. He was also seen celebrating his birthday in the military with his fellow military teammates.
J-Hope has been enlisted since April last year and is now serving as a training instructor at the Baekho Recruit Training Battalion, 36th Infantry Division, in Wonju, Gangwon Province. He is expected to be discharged on October 17 this year.
