Taehyung has made his fourth solo entry on Billboard Hot 100!

On March 27 US Time, BTS V's latest digital single "FRI(END)S" made its debut on Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart at No.65. This is V's fourth entry on the chart following "Christmas Tree," an original soundtrack for the Korean drama series "Our Beloved Summer," which landed at No. 79, and two of the tracks from his solo debut album "Layover", "Love Me Again" and "Slow Dancing," which hit No. 96 and No. 51 respectively.

"FRI(END)S" also achieved remarkable results on other Billboard charts, including No. 2 on Digital Song Sales, No. 3 on the Billboard Global (Excluding US), and No. 5 on the Global 200 chart.

In addition, the song also debuted at No. 13 on the British Official Singles Top 100 chart last Friday, proving V's popularity as a global artist despite serving in the military. 

Released on March 15, "FRI(END)S" is V's first solo product after "Layover", which was released in September last year.  "FRI(END)S" is a pop-soul track entirely written in English, which is a sweet love song that portrays the singer's confession to a girl whom he has been friends with for a long time.

Meanwhile, V's bandmate Jungkook's solo debut album "GOLDEN" continued to stay on the Billboard 200 main albums chart for the 20th consecutive week at No.113. This marks the longest run on the chart achieved by a K-pop soloist in history.

The two members, alongside the other BTS members, are currently completing their military service, and are expected to be discharged in June 2025.
