Stray Kids VMA

[Kpop Planet News] Stray Kids Takes The Stage At 2023 MTV Video Music Awards

Stray Kids won Best K-pop Video at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) with the music video of their latest title track "S-Class"!

On September 12, Stray Kids received their first-ever Moon Person at Prudential Center, New Jersey. Leader Bang Chan started off the acceptance speech by showing gratitude to VMA for inviting the group to the ceremony, saying that the award means a lot to them.

Felix then thanked the fandom, STAY, for supporting Stray Kids along the way. He also added that they have a lot more to show the fans, and asked STAY to continue to support them in the future. The members then thrilled the crowd by performing "S-Class" alongside their signature intense, high energy choreography.

After the ceremony, STAY from around the world proudly flooded the "S-Class" music video with comments congratulating the boys' incredible achievement and appreciating their hard work in the past years. Many also shared the good news on social media by reposting Stray Kids' speech and performance at the ceremony.

The winning music video has currently recorded over 100 million views on YouTube and is the group's 10th music video to reach this milestone, a testament to Stray Kid's status as one of the leading 4th gen K-pop boy groups.

The song is the leading track of Stray Kids' latest full length album "5-Star." The album has recently become their first album to chart for 13 weeks on Billboard’s World Albums chart.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will be holding a two-day concert at Gocheok Sky Dome on October 21 and 22. The concert, titled “Stray Kids 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023 Seoul Special (Unveil 13),” is a continuation of their 2023 “Dome Tour,” which started last month to perform in four cities in Japan.

Congratulations to Stray Kids and STAY, and stay tuned for more updates on Stray Kids upcoming concerts and events!
