TXT's new album debuted at third place in the Billboard 200 albums chart!

According to the chart preview on October 22 US Time, TXT's latest third full-length album “The Name Chapter: Freefall” charted No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This is the group's ninth album to enter the main albums chart, making TXT the K-pop act with the second highest number of albums entering the chart after BTS.

All three albums the group released this year have been placed on the chart. Their previous mini album “The Name Chapter: Temptation” debuted atop the chart in January and had stayed on it for 19 weeks consecutively. The group's second full Japanese album "Sweet" debuted at No. 54 in August, which made TXT the only K-pop group besides BTS to get in the chart with a Japanese album.

The album also topped the Oricon’s weekly album ranking in Japan, which is TXT's ninth consecutive album to achieve such incredible result. TXT is currently the first foreign artist in history to top the chart with nine consecutive albums. The album has also achieved high rankings in various streaming platforms including Spotify, showing TXT's rapidly growing prominence in the global music industry. 

“The Name Chapter: Freefall” has achieved huge success in Korea as well. Hanteo Chart revealed that the album has sold more than 2.25 million copies in the first week, making it TXT's fastest album to surpass the 2 million sales milestone. The chart also reported that TXT is now the K-pop artist with the fifth-highest first-week sales in Hanteo's history, following Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, NCT DREAM, and BTS.

Meanwhile, the title track of the album “Chasing That Feeling” debuted at No. 89 on Spotify’s Global Top Songs chart while recording over 1.7 million filtered streams on its first day of release. The music video of the song has also set a new record for most-viewed music video among 4th generation boy group in the first 24 hours with 16.4 million views, and has garnered more than 61 million views on YouTube as of October 24.
