[Kpop Planet News] SEVENTEEN S.Coups Donates 50M Won To Abandoned Animal Shelter
SEVENTEEN S.Coups has made another donation in support of animal welfare again!
On December 11, Pledis Entertainment announced that S.Coups donated 50 million won (US$38,500) to Angels' Nest, a no-kill private non-profit abandoned animals' shelter that currently protects around 200 animals. The shelter is operated through donations and volunteer activities from individuals, organizations, and various sectors of society.
According to Angels' Nest, the donation will be used to take care of the animals living in the shelter and pay for their medical expenses. The shelter also expressed their gratitude to S.Coups' benevolence, saying that the animals would be able to spend a warm and healthy winter thanks to his warm support.
Many CARAT also shared this news on social media, saying that they are proud of S.Coups's philanthropy.

S.Coups has been known for offering donations for various causes. In September, he donated 30 million won to animal rescue organization WEACT to save dogs from breeding farms.
He also donated 20 million won to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association back in February to support the recovery and rehabilitation efforts in regions hit by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Meanwhile, S.Coups will not be participating in SEVENTEEN FOLLOW tour stop in Bangkok (December 23-24), Bulacan (January 13-14), and Macau (January 20-21) in order to focus on the recovery of his knee injury.
SEVENTEEN has been on their FOLLOW tour since July this year. The group is has previously completed their performance in Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome and four domes across Japan in Tokyo, Saitama, Nagoya, and Osaka.
They are going to hold the last two concerts of the Japanese leg of the FOLLOW tour on December 16 and 17 in Fukuoka PayPay Dome. After that, they will continue to perform in the three aforementioned cities.
