[Kpop Planet News] Stray Kids To Make Summer Comeback
Stray Kids will be back this summer!
On April 16, music industry sources revealed that Stray Kids will be releasing a new album this summer. While the exact date and schedule of the comeback are yet to be confirmed, considering the fact that Stray Kids will be attending several global music festivals in July, many are anticipating that the comeback will happen in around June.
This comeback will mark their return after 7 months since the release of their previous 8th mini album "ROCK-STAR" in November last year. The album topped the Billboard 200 chart and dominated numerous album charts in Korea and overseas. With the comeback plans revealed, many are anticipating that Stray Kids will reach greater career heights with their upcoming album.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids continues to release various music contents while preparing for their comeback. On April 12, they released the OST "WHY?" for the Japanese Fuji TV drama "Re: Revenge - At the End of Desire". This song, the team's debut local drama OST, is a work directly produced by the producing team 3RACHA, adding their intense flavor to the drama's narrative and receiving enthusiastic responses.
Member Seungmin also participated in the OST "Was Our Meeting a Coincidence?" for the Genie TV original "R-rated Photo Studio," showcasing his delicate vocals.
Stray Kids is also holding their first offline fan meeting in Japan "Stray Kids Fan Connecting 2024 SKZ Toy World". They have completed two shows at Kyocera Dome Osaka on June 6-7, and will continue with the remaining two shows at Saitama Super Arena on the 27-28.
Following the Japanese fan meeting, Stray Kids will perform as the first K-pop boy group and headliner at the music festival "i-DAYS" in Milan, Italy, on July 13, and at "British Summer Time Hyde Park" in London, UK, on July 14. Additionally, on August 2nd, they are scheduled to showcase their strength as headliners at "Lollapalooza Chicago" in the United States, proving their status as the 4th-gen K-pop leader.
