TXT Soobin Donated 10M Won To WEACT

[Kpop Planet News] TXT Soobin Donated 10M Won To WEACT

Soobin made another donation to charity again.

On April 23, animal protection organization WEACT announced that TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) leader Soobin donated 10 million won for abandoned dogs recently rescued from the Hongseong Animal Shelter.

Last month WEACT and its partner organizations conducted a large-scale rescue of dogs from the Hongseong Animal Shelter. Most of the rescued dogs were abandoned by people, and some of them were scheduled to be euthanized last month.

According to the press release, the donation will be used for the rescued dogs from the Hongseong Animal Shelter who have suffered physically and mentally. WEACT also added that they hope Soobin's positive influence as the leader of TXT spreads widely and becomes an opportunity for many people to take an interest in marginalized lives.

WEACT started with the Hanam Dog Farm in 2018, with the slogan "Take direct action to rescue abused dogs and enable them to live a happy life."

Meanwhile, TXT released their 6th mini-album 'Minisode 3: TOMORROW' on the April 1. The album continues to dominate various Billboard album charts, including maintaining its top position on the 'World Albums' chart for two consecutive week and rising to No.33 on the main album chart 'Billboard 200'.

In addition, the title track of the new album 'Deja Vu' reached 74th and 36th place on the 'Global 200' and 'Global (excluding the US)' charts respectively. 'Deja Vu' has been on both charts for three consecutive weeks, setting a record for the team's longest consecutive chart presence.

TXT has also spent a total of 71 weeks on the 'Artist 100,' making them the longest-charting 4th generation K-pop artist. They ranked 12th among K-pop artists listed on this week's 'Artist 100,' which is the group's highest position.
