K-pop sensation girl group, aespa is making waves this summer with a dynamic fusion of music and gaming. Their latest single “Dirty Work”, is climbing the charts, while an innovate collaboration with Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is set to launch on July 4th, 2025.
Aespa X Street Fighter 6: Crossover
Capcom has announced a groundbreaking partnership with aespa, introducing exclusive in-game content for Street Fighter 6. The highlight is a new outfit for the character Juri, dubbed ‘Outfit 4 feat. aespa’, which incorporates aespa’s aesthetic. This outfit will be available from July 4th, 2025 to July, 2026.
Additionally, the collaboration also features naevis, a visual artist associated with aespa, will serve as a new in-game commentator, enhancing the gaming experience with unique commentary.
The whole strategy of Capcom is to incorporate pop culture into gaming franchises, following previous crossovers with brands like the famous animation Spy x Family or Monster Hunter Wilds.
aespa’s chart topping single: ‘Dirty Work’
The single released on June 27th, 2025 is aespa’s first single album, featuring four versions of the title track, with the original version, a collaboration with Flo Milli, English version and the instrumental version.
This song is characterized by its dance and hip-hop elements, driven by a synth bass and assertive lyrics.
The single has achieved significant commercial success surpassing 1 million stock pre-orders prior to its release. The single has debuted at number 42 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for the week of July 2nd, 2025.
