K-Pop Circle Chart 2026: Stray Kids, Taemin, NCT 127, MONSTA X & RESCENE Lead the Charts

K-Pop Circle Chart 2026: Stray Kids, Taemin, NCT 127, MONSTA X & RESCENE Lead the Charts

The latest Circle Chart results highlight another highly competitive period for K-pop, with major groups, solo artists, and rising acts making an impact across album sales, downloads, streaming, and global music consumption.

Stray Kids delivered one of the strongest physical album performances of August with their mini album “THIS & THAT.” The standard edition reached No. 1 on the monthly album chart, while the FANS edition also secured a place in the Top 5. ENHYPEN followed at No. 2 with “THE SIN : BLISS,” while ALPHA DRIVE ONE entered at No. 3 with “UNBREAKABLE : 少年BEAST.” NCT 127’s studio album “BLINGY” completed a strong month by debuting at No. 4.

The weekly album rankings brought a different group of leaders into focus. MONSTA X claimed the top position with their mini album “The Phase,” while CORTIS rose to No. 2 with “GREENGREEN.” 82MAJOR’s “HEAT” entered at No. 3, NCT 127 remained competitive with “BLINGY” at No. 4, and SHINee member Taemin’s solo EP “PHASE 1 : Soft Violence” arrived at No. 5.

Digital downloads produced another notable result for NCT 127, whose title track “Blingy” led the monthly download ranking for August. ENHYPEN’s “Bloody Paradise” followed at No. 2, with Stray Kids’ “This & That,” BIGBANG’s “BiiiG,” and ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s “BORN DIRE” completing the monthly Top 5.

Taemin emerged as one of the standout performers on the weekly charts. His solo title track “FLOAT” debuted at No. 1 on both the weekly overall digital ranking and the download chart, giving him two chart-leading results during the same period. MONSTA X’s “MAGIC” entered the weekly download ranking at No. 2, followed by Jisoo’s “CLICK” at No. 3, Girls’ Generation-HRS’s “Skibidi” at No. 4, and PLAVE’s collaboration with milet, “Flame,” at No. 5.

One of the most interesting stories of the month came from RESCENE. The group’s 2024 track “LOVE ATTACK” experienced a significant resurgence and climbed to the top of both the monthly overall digital and streaming charts. Rather than following the typical pattern of a newly released song immediately dominating the rankings, its later rise demonstrates how older K-pop tracks can find new audiences and generate renewed momentum long after their original release.

RESCENE also continued to perform strongly on the weekly charts. “LOVE ATTACK” remained No. 1 on the weekly streaming ranking, while Taemin’s newly released “FLOAT” took the top position on the weekly overall digital chart. CORTIS, I.O.I, BIGBANG, and aespa were among the other artists maintaining prominent positions across the digital and streaming categories.

The global rankings offered another perspective on K-pop’s increasingly international audience. HUNTR/X’s “Golden,” from the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack, remained No. 1 on the monthly Global K-Pop Chart. BTS held No. 2 with “SWIM,” followed by ATEEZ’s “BAD” at No. 3. Rosé and Bruno Mars’ long-running collaboration “APT.” ranked No. 4, while CORTIS completed the Top 5 with “REDRED.”

A similar lineup dominated the weekly Global K-Pop Chart, although BLACKPINK’s Jennie introduced a new entry into the upper ranks with her solo single “FALLEN ANGEL,” which climbed to No. 5 for the week.

Social engagement also remained an important indicator of global fandom activity. BTS led the monthly Social Chart for August, followed by ILLIT, BABYMONSTER, BLACKPINK, and ATEEZ. On the weekly ranking, ILLIT moved into the No. 1 position, with BTS at No. 2 and Jisoo rising to No. 3.

Taken together, the latest rankings show how varied K-pop success has become. Physical albums remain a major part of the market, but streaming, downloads, social engagement, soundtrack hits, solo projects, and songs experiencing unexpected revivals can all create significant chart momentum. Established names such as Stray Kids, BTS, NCT 127, MONSTA X, Taemin, and BLACKPINK continue to demonstrate strong fan engagement, while artists including RESCENE and CORTIS illustrate how quickly new or previously released music can gain wider attention.

The results also underline an increasingly important feature of today’s K-pop market: a song’s commercial life no longer necessarily ends after its initial promotional period. Social platforms, fan communities, international streaming audiences, and viral rediscovery can give music a second opportunity to reach listeners, making the modern K-pop charts more dynamic and less predictable than ever.
