Irene & Seulgi Reunite for "Balance" Asia Tour
Five years after their successful debut as a sub-unit, Irene & Seulgi are set to embark on their first concert tour titled "Balance." The tour supports their upcoming 2nd mini album "TILT," and solo projects: Irene's "Like a Flower" (2024) and Seulgi's "Accidentally on Purpose" (2025). Kicking off on June 14, 2025, in Seoul, the tour will span nine concerts across seven Asian countries, concluding on September 25 in Tokyo. This marks their return to the stage as a duo since their 2020 debut with "Monster". Their new album is set to be released on May 27th (KST).
Red Velvet's Participation in SMTOWN LIVE 2025
Red Velvet is also part of SM Entertainment's grand 30th-anniversary celebration, "SMTOWN LIVE 2025: The Culture, The Future." The tour, which began in Seoul, is set to visit major cities including Mexico City, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. Notably, Red Velvet performed in Seoul as a quartet without Wendy during the concert on January 12, 2025. And will probably have now a stage for the new unit with Seulgi and Irene.
Joy's Potential Return to Acting
Red Velvet’s member, Joy, is reportedly in talks to star alongside actress Kim Hye Yoon in a new drama adaptation of the popular webtoon "The Year We Turned 29" If confirmed, this role would mark Joy's return to acting, adding to her diverse portfolio in the entertainment industry.
