SEVENTEEN’s official social media announced their new unit debut on February 19th at midnight KST. The new unit is formed by Hoshi and Woozi and is it planned to debut next month on March 10th at 6 p.m. KST. with their first single album, “BEAM”.They released a concept video along with the new logo for the unit.The new concept video shows a monotone screen that intersects a light and darkness and has a fresh and slightly sensual vibe. At the end of the video, the release schedule of "BEAM" appears, raising Carats (fandom name) expectations. Hoshi X Woozi will form a special unit in about eight years after working together on the track "Shoot Me and Go" from SEVENTEEN's second full-length album, "TEEN, AGE", which was released in November 2017.

SEVENTEEN has consistently demonstrated a wide musical spectrum by showcasing unique combinations of their 13 members through original units, mixed units, and special units.
Both are the leaders of performance and vocal teams, friends of the same age, as both were born in 1996, knows for their loyal friendship and amazing performance quality. Carats (Seventeen's fandom) speculate they will have what is called the "real chemistry" in this new unit.

SEVENTEEN will celebrate their highly anticipated 10th anniversary in 2025. Fans are eager to see if the BSS comeback and the Hoshi-Woozi unit will set a meaningful tone for the group’s milestone year.
