The music video of "Seven" illustrates a story of trying to prove one's love every moment throughout the week. The video has been receiving continuous love worldwide for its movie-like storyline, outstanding visual beauty, and humorous points. The fantastic acting and chemistry between Jungkook and actress Han So-hee also added extra fun to the music video.

"Seven" is Jungkook's first solo single that features addictive melody, warm sound of acoustic guitar, rhythm of the UK garage genre, and Jungkook's sweet tone and unique pop vocals. The song was included in his solo debut studio album "GOLDEN" in November last year. 

The song has became a "mega hit song" immediately upon its release in July last year, hitting major music charts worldwide immediately upon release. "Seven" debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks. It ranked number 1 for 9 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global, 7 consecutive weeks on the Global 200, and charted for 33 consecutive weeks on each. It entered the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 at number 3 and remained for 14 weeks. 

Moreover, it set a record on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, by achieving 1 billion streams in the fastest period of 108 days and has currently surpassed 1.4 billion streams. It ranked number 1 for a total of 71 days on Spotify's "Daily Top Song Global" and for 9 weeks on "Weekly Top Song Global," entering each for more than 220 days and more than 30 weeks, respectively. 

The song also brought Jungkook the 10th place on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)'s "2023 Global Single Chart", making him the only Korean artist to make it into the top 10.

"Seven" also won the "Song of Summer" category at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' (MTV VMA), the "Top Global K-Pop Song" category at the '2023 Billboard Music Awards' (BBMAs), and the "Best Song" category at the '2023 MTV Europe Music Awards' (MTV EMA), which is Europe's largest music award ceremony.
