BTS's golden maknae Jungkook is going to release his first solo album!
Big Hit Music announced that Jungkook will make a comeback again as a soloist with his debut album "GOLDEN" on November 3 at 1PM KST. The album title resonates with Jungkook's nickname "golden maknae (youngest in a group)," at the same time shows his ambition of capturing all his "golden moments" as a soloist through this album.
According to the announcement, the album will contain 11 tracks including his recent global hits "Seven (feat. Latto)" and "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)." The agency also said that Jungkook will reveal his identity and color without any reservations, and try out different music genres through this album, drawing high anticipation among ARMY globally.
In support of the album release, Jungkook will be putting on special performances and making appearances in various shows and events, including Music Bank where he will be premiering the pre-release track of the upcoming album "3D" in the episode on October 13.
Jungkook made a successful solo debut with "Seven" back in July, which the song swept various music charts in both Korea and overseas, reaching No.1 on US Billboard's Hot 100 main singles chart and No.3 on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100. He also performed the track with Latto at the Global Citizen Festival held in New York City last month.
Following "Seven," Jungkook dropped another single "3D" on September 29. The dance R&B track once again stormed music charts globally, which it landed 1st in iTunes Top Songs charts in 100 regions around the world on the day of its release, demonstrating the unbeatable popularity of Jungkook as a soloist.
