[Kpop Planet News] TWICE Places First No.1 Album On Billboard 200 With "With YOU-th"
TWICE's new album made it to the top on Billboard!
On March 3 (Korean time), Billboard announced that TWICE's 13th mini album "With YOU-th" tops on the Billboard 200 chart. This is the group's first No.1 album on the chart. TWICE is now the third K-pop girl group and eighth K-pop act to place an album on the top of the chart.
Since its release on February 23, "With YOU-th" have sold 95,000 equivalent album units in the US according to the US statistic company Luminate with physical album sales comprising 90,000, making it the top-selling album of the week and highest first-week sales of the year in the country.

Billboard also stated that as the tracks in "With YOU-th" are mostly in Korean language, the album is the 24th mostly non-English language album to achieve No.1 on the chart, and the first one in 2024.
The album has achieved success globally apart from in the US. It has topped iTunes Album Charts in 23 regions around the world, and the title track "One Spark" ranked first in the trending music video on YouTube a day after its release.
The album has also achieved strong album sales in Korea as it sold more than 750,000 and 1.06 million copies in the first day and first week of release respectively according to Hanteo Chart, setting a new personal record for TWICE's album sales.
Meanwhile, TWICE is currently continuing on with their 5th world tour "Ready to Be", which first kicked off in April last year. The group is set to perform at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on March 16, then in Osaka and Yokohama, Japan in July, solidifying their status as a global K-pop girl group.
