[Kpop Planet News] aespa To Continue World Tour In Americas and Europe
Metaverse girl group aespa will continue their very first headlining world tour "SYNK: HYPER LINE" this month to meet more fans in Americas and Europe.
The quartet kicked off the world tour in Seoul February this year, followed by various cities in Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. The girls then visited 6 cities across the US in August.
This month, aespa will bring the show to two more American cities (New York City, Boston), then fly down to Mexico City, São Paulo, and Santiago to visit MYs in Latin America. The girls will finally perform in Berlin, London, and Paris in late September.
The group has recently dropped a new English single “Better Things” on August 18, which they premiered during the concert in LA on August 13. Apart from performing this latest release in the world tour, aespa also released music video, performance video and recording behind the scene video of the song.
Since their debut in 2020, aespa has been well known for their unique metaverse concept through releasing hits such as "Black Mamba", "Savage", and "Girls", making them one of the most popular 4th-gen K-pop girl groups. While the girls switched to a more refreshing and casual concept this year with their latest album "My World", it is equally well-received like their previous discography.
Back in May this year, aespa even became the first K-pop group to attend the 76th Cannes International Film Festival's red-carpet event as the official global ambassador of Swiss luxury brand Chopard, and performed at Governors Ball Music Festival 2023 in June, which shows their huge popularity overseas.
