BTS "golden maknae" Jungkook has successfully held his "'GOLDEN' Live On Stage" fan showcase yesterday (November 20) at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. Some 2,800 devoted ARMY attended the showcase live. 

Throughout the 2-hour showcase, Jungkook performed all the songs from his newly released debut solo album "GOLDEN". He started off with the title track "Standing Next to You", followed by the other tracks such as "Yes or No", "Somebody", and the two global mega hits "Seven" and "3D". He also sang his self-composing song "Still With You".

The BTS members also chatted with the fans in between the performance, confessing that he is happy to release "GOLDEN" and perform the tracks in front of them. He also expressed his gratitude towards his fans, saying that ARMY is his life and that he hopes ARMY can remember that he is always with them anytime and anywhere. 

Apart from expressing his love towards ARMY, Jungkook also took the opportunity to thank his mother as she was also present in the audience. He also mentioned that his mother had a golden rain dream when she was pregnant, showing his gratitude towards his mother for his golden life.

BTS leader RM also attended the concert, where he said in a clip that he is proud of Jungkook, and that he always learn from him even he is the youngest member. Two other members J-Hope and Jimin also cheered for Jungkook by leaving messages on Weverse before and during the show. 

The fan concert was live streamed on Weverse for fans in more than 224 countries globally. According to Big Hit Music, the show's concurrent viewers peaked at about 1.2 million, a testament to Jungkook's position as a global K-pop star.  

Meanwhile, Jungkook won the Top Global K-pop Song award at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) for “Seven” last Sunday. This made him the only K-pop soloist to receive an award. In response to the honor, he said that it is hard to express his gratitude in words, and that winning this category means a lot to him.
