[Kpop Planet News] NewJeans to Make Comeback in May and June

Good news for Bunnies, NewJeans will be back soon!

On March 26, ADOR officially announced the upcoming plans for NewJeans coomeback and Japanese debut. The group will be dropping a new double single "How Sweet" on May 24. The album consists of four tracks including the title track "How Sweet" and b-side track "Bubble Gum", as well as the instrumental versions of both songs. "Bubble Gum" will be pre-released in April as a Japanese shampoo commercial song.

Following the Korean comeback, NewJeans will then debut in Japan on June 21 with another double single "Supernatural" and "Right Now", together with the instrumental versions of both songs. "Right Now" will also be released first as a commercial song in both Korea and Japan in May.

Apart from promoting on music shows in both Korea and Japan, the group will also be holding a two-day fan meeting "Bunnies Camp 2024" at the Tokyo Done on June 26 and 27 in support of their Japanese debut.

NewJeans has also revealed plans to release a new album in the second half of 2024, and is aiming to kick off their first world tour in 2025.

NewJeans has been gaining immense popularity globally with their unique Y2K concept since their debut in 2022. Earlier this month, the group received the Group of the Year Award at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music event, which proves their position as a leading 4th-gen K-pop girl group.

During the red carpet interview at the ceremony, NewJeans had teased their comeback as Danielle revealed that they “can’t wait to share new music with everyone,” and that they are “really looking forward to it.” Now that NewJeans has officially announced their comeback schedule makes Bunnies around the world even more excited for the group's new music.
