SEVENTEEN delivered a speech and performed at the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum, where they promoted youth solidarity and called for young people's collective action to sustainable development. 

On November 14 7:30 PM local time (3:30 AM KST), SEVENTEEN attended the Youth Forum at UNESCO headquarter in Paris, France. Apart from the group's leader S.Coups, who is currently on hiatus due to knee injury, all the members attended and performed at the forum. This marked the first time for a K-pop act to hold an entire separate session at a major UNESCO meeting. The forum was also lived streamed on UNESCO YouTube channel. 

Five of the members, Seungkwan, Jun, Woozi, Mingyu, and Joshua took turns to deliver a speech in their respective mother tongue. Seungkwan, who is originally from Jeju Island, started off by telling his dream-like journey to stardom from a little boy living in the UNESCO World Heritage island to a member of SEVENTEEN who is giving a speech in the forum. 

One of the group's Chinese members Jun, then talked about the importance of friendship by sharing his story of joining SEVENTEEN as a foreigner, and how he overcame language and various barriers with the support of his teammates, saying that the team will be able to move towards a bright future together despite uncertainties and challenges ahead as long as they are together. 

The group's in-house producer Woozi then continued by recounting SEVENTEEN's rise as a global sensation from a humble background. He recalled that the group faced various criticisms when they first debuted due to their large number of member and young age. However, they were not discouraged but gradually developed their unique music style by learning and growing with each other. He also took the opportunity to compliment his fellow members one by one.

After Woozi's speech, Mingyu introduced SEVENTEEN's first time taking part in a charity activity as a group. The members donated 13 goats to children in Tanzania under the group's name as they received their first salary in 2016, while celebrating their one-year anniversary as SEVENTEEN. 

Korean-American member Joshua then continued with introducing the "Going Together" campaign, which was launched last year in collaboration with the Korean National Commission for UNESCO. The initiative aimed to promote the importance of education in developing countries in Asia and Africa, and it even caught the attention of the UNESCO headquarters, which offered to support the campaign. Joshua revealed that they plan expand the campaign to improve educational infrastructure by building schools in least developed countries in the future.

Following the speech, the forum broadcasted a performance video of "God of Music", the title track of SEVENTEEN's latest album "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN". The group then took the stage by performing five of their global hits including "_World" and "Headliner" in front of youth representatives from 173 countries and 550 CARAT chosen in a lottery. Registration for the event closed early after 3,600 CARAT attempted to sign up for a seat. 

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN has added one more show in Bulacan, the Philippines on January 14, 2024 for their on-going "Follow" tour. The tour kicked off in July with two shows in Seoul, and the group will continue to perform around Asian cities in the following months.
