SEVENTEEN owns 3 more gold certification songs from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), reaffirming their popularity in Japan.

On January 30, RIAJ announced their monthly certified songs list. SEVENTEEN's 4th full album "Face The Sun" title track "HOT" and one of the B-side tracks from the album "Darling", along with the title track of their 2nd full album "Teen, Age", "Clap", have each surpassed 50 million cumulative streams as of December last year, earning them "Gold" certification for streaming.

SEVENTEEN now holds a total of 10 streaming gold certification songs, including the above tracks and others like "Very Nice" and "Don't Wanna Cry". 

The RIAJ certifies songs monthly based on the cumulative number of streams, distinguishing them into five categories including "Gold" (50 million or more), "Platinum" (100 million or more), and "Diamond" (500 million or more).

SEVENTEEN has been enjoying immense popularity in Japan in recent years. In December last year, their 10th mini album "FML", first Japanese best album "ALWAYS YOURS", and 11th mini album "SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN" ranked 3rd, 5th, and 7th on the "Oricon Annual Ranking 2023" in both the "Album Ranking" and "Total Album Ranking" categories. This made SEVENTEEN the only artist in the world to have three works entering the Top 10 on each chart.

Meanwhile, following the success of the "FOLLOW" Asian tour which ended last week, SEVENTEEN will be kicking off their encore tour "SEVENTEEN TOUR 'FOLLOW' AGAIN" on March 30-31 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. The group will then hold four concerts in Japan, including May 18-19 at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, and May 25-26 at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, solidifying their status as a top K-pop group in Japan.

Notably, SEVENTEEN will be the third Korean act to perform in Nissan Stadium following TVXQ and TWICE, which made anticipation run even higher among CARAT globally.
