[Kpop Planet News] Stray Kids Hyunjin Donates 100M Won To Support Hearing Impaired

Stray Kids Hyunjin donated to the charity again!

On April 4, JYP Entertainment announced that Hyunjin donated 100 million won (US$72,000) to The Snail of Love, a charity organization that supports people with hearing impairments and other auditory disabilities.

According to JYP, the donation will be used to finance hearing aid replacements and language rehabilitation education sessions.

Hyunjin shared his thoughts on the donation through a press release, saying that "I made the donation because I want to help in any way that I can, especially as an artist whose job is to share joy through the power of music." He also added that he hopes to share the joy of music and the love he received from fans even it's a small donation.

Hyunjin also became a member of The Snail of Love Soul Leader club for donating more than 99 million won.

The Stray Kids member has been actively involved in philanthropic activities. Last year, he donated 100 million won to The Promise to help people who were affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, making him a member of The Promise Honors Club.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Stray Kids received the K-pop Album of the Year award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards for its third full-length album "5-Star."

Stray Kids has successfully completed their 4th fan meeting "SKZ'S MAGIC SCHOOL", which was held from March 29 to 31 at KSPO Dome. Following this, Stray Kids is set to perform at the I-Days festival in Italy on July 12 and the British Summer Time Hyde Park festival on July 14 in London. They will then headline the Lollapalooza Chicago music festival on Aug. 2.
