[Kpop Planet News] TWICE To Hold Their Last Concert This Year In Fukuoka
TWICE will be holding the last two concerts this year today and tomorrow (December 27-28) at Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan as part of their "TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE'" tour!
The two-day concert holds a special meaning to TWICE as it not only marks the group last concert performance as a team this year, but is also the final show of the Japan leg of the "READY TO BE" world tour. The tour has the largest scale among all TWICE tours since their debut, and has set various new records for the group.
TWICE kicked off the tour in April this year in Seoul in support of their 12th mini album "READY TO BE". Since then, they have been touring in over 10 countries across the world including Australia, Japan, the US, France, and more.
In May, TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to perform at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, and the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo. In June and July, they achieved another milestone by successfully entering and selling out performances at the Sofi Stadium in LA and the MetLife Stadium in New York, marking the first time for a girl group to do so globally.
In November, TWICE even held their debut solo concert at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. They then celebrated Christmas with Indonesian fans by performing at the Jakarta International Stadium on December 23. All these records have solidified TWICE's position as one of the top K-pop girl groups in history.

Moving on to next year, TWICE will continue with the "READY TO BE" tour by performing in Mexico and Brazil in February and the US in March, meeting more fans in the Americas.
Meanwhile, TWICE will be starting a new project "2024 Spring" next year. On December 26, TWICE announced on its social media channels that they will be dropping a pre-release single "I GOT YOU" on February 2 next year. They have also revealed a 30-second teaser video for the song, drawing high anticipations among fans.
