Stray Kids To Perform At AMAs 50th Anniversary Special On Oct 6

Stray Kids has confirmed their appearance at The American Music Awards (AMAs) ceremony! 

The AMAs announced on the 26th (local time) that Stray Kids will perform at the "American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special" on October 6, 8 PM ET.

The AMAs are considered one of the four major American music awards shows, alongside the Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, and MTV Video Music Awards. This year, in celebration of its 50th anniversary, the awards ceremony will reflect on its history.

Notably, Stray Kids will become the second K-pop group in history, following BTS, to perform at the AMAs, delivering a special performance in tribute to boy bands' legacy.

 

 

Stray Kids's agency JYP Entertainment expressed their anticipation, saying, "After demonstrating their power by winning the 'Top K-pop Album' category at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards and 'Best K-pop' at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, Stray Kids will once again shine as a 'global top artist' at another prestigious music awards show."

Additionally, having kicked off their new "dominATE" tour with four sold-out solo concerts at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from August 24–25 and 31–September 1, Stray Kids will officially begin the tour with the Singapore performance, which will be held in Singapore's National Stadium on September 28. They will also become the first 4th-generation K-pop group to perform at Singapore's National Stadium.

From October, the tour will continue with performances on the 19th in Melbourne, Australia, the 26th in Sydney, November 2 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, November 14 and 16–17 in Tokyo, Japan, November 23 in Manila, Philippines, November 29–30 in Macau, December 5 and 7–8 in Osaka, Japan, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand, December 21 in Jakarta, Indonesia, and January 18–19, 2025, in Hong Kong. More locations, including Latin America, North America, and Europe, will be announced later.
