📖 Album Description

JYP Entertainment's girl group NiziU is set to release their debut single album, "Press Play," in Korea on October 30. NiziU was formed through the global audition project "Nizi Project," a collaboration between JYP and Sony Music Entertainment, in June 2020. Comprising nine members – Mako, Riku, Lima, Rio, Maya, Miihi, Mayuka, Ayaka, and Nina, they've achieved significant success with their digital album "Make you happy" and title track, becoming the first female artists to simultaneously top Oricon's digital album, digital single, and streaming weekly charts. Their "Super Rookie" status was further solidified with multiple chart-topping releases.

Having successfully conducted their second solo tour, "NiziU Live with U 2023 'COCO! nut Fes.'" in Japan, which consisted of 15 sold-out shows across seven cities from July to September, NiziU made their debut stadium concert appearance on September 17 and 18 at the ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba, Japan. Their remarkable popularity remains undeniable, with the group gaining a strong following in Japan since their local debut.

Now, NiziU is gearing up to make their Korean debut with the single album "Press Play" in October. The album title is inspired by the "Press Play" message seen on the opening screen of a game, symbolizing an exciting new chapter in NiziU's journey. Their signature lovable charm and exceptional performance skills have captivated global fans, and this Korean debut will mark another milestone in their career.

The album includes the title track "HEARTRIS" and two additional songs, "Lucky Star" and "Paradise (Korean Ver.)." "Lucky Star" is not only a new track but also a message of positivity and encouragement, in line with NiziU's optimistic energy. "Paradise (Korean Ver.)" is the Korean version of the title track from their 5th single album "Paradise," which was originally released in Japan. This version is produced by Stray Kids' producing team, 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), and features lyrics by renowned K-pop songwriter Sim Eunji.

NiziU's "Press Play" is set to open a new and mysterious stage for their fans, drawing them into a world where a broken game sound storage lures the members in. In this adventure, they seek to find a way to restore the game to its original state and encounter secret bear characters who watch them with curiosity. As the story unfolds, it all starts with the exciting signal "Press Play." The stage is set, and fans are eagerly anticipating NiziU's successful debut in Korea, beginning in October 2023.
