K-pop sensation ILLIT is set to make a dynamic return with their third mini album, “Bomb”, scheduled for release on June 16, 2025. This comeback follows the group's meteoric rise since their debut, solidifying their status as a leading act in the fifth generation of K-pop.

 

Explosive Comeback: Bomb Set for June Release

The group has officially announced on all their channels that ILLIT will release their new mini album, "Bomb", on June 16, 2025. Anticipation is high as fans await the group's next musical direction, especially after the success of their previous releases. 

 

From Reality Show to Record-Breaking Debut

Formed through the 2023 JTBC survival show, ILLIT comprises members Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha, with their debut released in March 2024, featured the viral hit "Magnetic." The track achieved remarkable milestones, including entering the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart, making ILLIT the first K-pop act to debut on both charts simultaneously. "Magnetic" also became the fastest K-pop debut track to reach 500 million streams on Spotify, accomplishing this feat in just 275 days. Also, it established the viral songs challenges on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts.

 

Expanding Horizons: Japanese Market and Collaborations

In February 2025, ILLIT released their first Japanese single, "Almond Chocolate," which served as the theme song for the Japanese film "It Takes More Than a Pretty Face to Fall in Love". The track gained significant attention, climbing major music charts in Japan. Additionally, members Yunah and Minju collaborated with Kylie Cantrall on the song "See U Tonight," showcasing the group's expanding global presence. 

 

Upcoming Projects and Fan Engagements

ILLIT is set to connect with fans through their first fan concert, “2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL”, scheduled for June 7 and 8 at Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. Following this, the group will embark on a tour in Japan, with concerts planned in Yokohama and Osaka during August and September.
