[Kpop Planet News] Red Velvet Confirms Comeback in November
ReVeluv, your queens are back to smash the music chart once again this fall!
On September 18, SM Entertainment announced that Red Velvet is currently preparing a full-length album, and aims to release it in November. The album title and details are yet to be revealed.
This album will be Red Velvet's first comeback in exactly a year since they dropped their last mini album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday" in November last year. This is also going to be their third full-length album released six years after their last full-length album "Perfect Velvet" in 2017.
This news is particularly delightful for fans as the group's leader Irene has recently been surrounded by rumors about her contract renewal. The official announcement has therefore trashed the recent rumors about the group's disbandment, drawing even more anticipation for this comeback.
Earlier this year, Red Velvet held their 4th concert tour "R to V." The girls first kicked off the show on April 1 and 2 at KSPO Dome in Seoul, then toured in 8 Asian and European countries in the following two months.
The concert tour was well-received both in home and abroad. In particular, The Guardian gave the London show five star out of five, saying that despite Joy's absence, the show didn't suffer and "the perfection is mesmerizing." The success of the tour has proved Red Velvet's position as one of the top K-pop girl groups.
