[Kpop Planet News] SEVENTEEN Adds Three Stops To "Follow" Asia Tour

CARAT, your boys may be visiting your city soon!

On September 12, SEVENTEEN's agency Pledis Entertainment announced that SEVENTEEN will expand its "Follow To Asia" Tour by adding three more cities to the schedule.

The members will visit Bangkok, Thailand on December 23, followed by Bulacan, the Philippines on January 13, 2024, and finally Macao on January 20-21. The tour now cover a total of nine cities with 18 concerts. Details of the tour will be released later.

SEVENTEEN kicked off the tour on July 21 at Gocheok Sky Dome. The boys then held two shows at Tokyo Dome last Wednesday and Thursday, meeting around 100,000 CARAT in person.

Seungkwan rejoined the team after returning from a break through the show, while leader S.Coups, who was still recovering from knee surgery, sat at the audience to support his teammates. However, he will resume activity in the show in Saitama on November 23 and 24. 

After performing in Saitama, the members will also visit other Japanese cities including Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka in November and December. 

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN was nominated for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in the Best K-Pop and Group of the Year categories. The music video of the group's latest title track "Super" reached 100 million views in less than three months, making it the group's fastest music video to hit this number.

"FML," the album that features "Super," also achieved unprecedented result by ranking no.2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album even recorded over 4.5 million copies of sales within a week of its release, setting a new record for K-pop album first week sales.
