Stray Kids is starting strong in 2024 as they achieved the highest ranking among K-pop artists on the French albums chart last year!

The French Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP) has recently announced the "2023 Top 200 Albums" chart. The two Korean albums that Stray Kids released last year have both entered the chart. Their 3rd full-length album "5-Star" released in June was placed at No.52, while their 8th mini album "Rock-Star" released in November secured the 135th position. 

Stray Kids achieved the highest ranking among K-pop artists, implying that they owned the best-selling K-pop album in France last year. This proves Stray Kids' undeniable popularity in France.

Both albums have yielded huge success since their release. Not only did they claim No.1 on Billboard 200, making Stray Kids the second group to have achieved four or more first place on the chart following BTS, but the two albums have also dominated major streaming platforms and music charts globally. 

On January 11, "Rock-Star" even made a return to the Billboard 200 chart at No.33 and the Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart at No.2, making it the second best-selling album of the week in the US. "Rock-Star" is also now in its fifth non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart at No.1, and is staying on the "Tastemaker Albums" chart at the 15th place. 

In addition, Stray Kids rose to No. 13 on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart in their 48th non-consecutive week on the chart, extending their personal record as the fourth longest-charting K-pop act in history following BTS, TXT, and NCT 127.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids have previously announced their plans for this year in the 2024 edition of their annual "STEP OUT" series video. In the video, the group teases various activities this year, including releasing 2 new albums, embarking on their third world tour and fourth fan meeting, launching pop-up stores, and more. With all these offline and online activities, Stray Kids is expected to continue to demonstrate exponential growth this year.
