ZEROBASEONE Park Gunwook is turning 20 (Korean age) today!

This birthday is particularly meaningful to Gunwook and ZEROSE not only does it marks the official start of his adult life according to Korean law, but also because this is Gunwook's first birthday as a ZEROBASEONE member. 

On January 10th, ZEROBASEONE uploaded a two photos of Gunwook on their official Twitter and Instagram accounts, wishing him happy birthday and asking ZEROSE to support 20-year-old Gunwook's new beginning as an adult.

The post also includes thoughtful hashtags such as "어라라_건욱이몇살_거뉴기20쨜" (Oh la la, how old is Gunwook? Gunwookie is 20 years old), which plays with another Boys Planet contestant Kum Junhyeon's signature line "준현이 다섯살" (Junhyunie is 5 years old), who is known to be a close friend of Gunwook during the audition program. 

ZEROSE around the world flooded the comment section under the post to send Gunwook birthday wishes such as "Thank you for being part of our lives, we love you very much." Some also commented with the line "OUR MIRACLE GUNWOOK DAY" to show their affection and support for Gunwook on this special day. 

Gunwook and ZEROBASEONE fan clubs of different countries even translated the official birthday post into their respective languages, proving Gunwook and ZEROBASEONE's immense popularity globally as a 5th-generation rising star.

Apart from leaving birthday messages on social media, Gunwook's fan clubs in Korea are also running birthday cafes and exhibitions in different cities across Korea to share the joy of Gunwook's birthday with ZEROSE.

The event venues are nicely decorated with Gunwook's pictures taken during fan sign events and performances, allowing ZEROSE to look back on Gunwook's magical growth in the past year from an audition program contestant to a member of a double million seller rookie boy group. ZEROSE can get various fan-made gifts such as postcards, photocards, and stickers by purchasing beverages and snacks in the venues. 

ZEROSE can also participate in various activities in the cafes and exhibitions, such as taking pictures with Gunwook's photos, leaving birthday wishes to Gunwook on the message wall, and joining the lucky draw event to win special merchandise made by the fan clubs.
